Introduction

Marcus Tan is the first and last name of the author of this blog.
At only age 22, he hails from a tiny island state of Singapore.
Doing Internet Marketing was just started in December 2009, and he already has high hopes in this business.
The inspiration to hop on to the Internet Marketing bandwagon was when he got exposed to the teachings of various speakers at the Global Internet Seminar 2009 that was held at Expo Singapore, organised by Success Resources Pte Ltd.
He sees himself as a Internet Marketing Facilitator, helping out fellow newbie Internet Marketers and though this process, both parties can learn and achieve the goals together.

Before that, he graduated with a Advanced Diploma in Pharmacy Practice, and an a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Knowing that his path will only make him remain as a salaried employee if he were to continue the pharmacy track, he decided to venture into internet marketing and be his own boss.

Why am I in Internet Marketing?
1) On a business level, Robert Kiyosaki said that in order to be rich, one has to either be an investor, or a business owner, and the internet allows me to start my own business with low capital.
Who wants to be a salaried employee all their life, only to be bossed around?
2) The trend of internet usage and spending is going up and hopefully in the near future with the earnings that I have, it will be a second source of income for me.
There are successful internet marketers such as Singaporean Ewen Chia, Jaz Lai, Alvin Phang whom I admire.
3) With the internet, my product/service can be seen by the whole world, and it is not restricted by factors such as geographic location,
4) On a family level, Hopefully with the money that I earn, I am able to retire my parents earlier and I want to thank them for giving me support and opportunities.
This way, they do not have to work until they are old.
5) On a personal level, being a full time internet marketer in the future can allow me to have more time with my family and spend time with them.

I actually have a purpose for creating this website.
Although it cant be seen from the picture below, I am actually born with a deformed right ear, which resulted in severe deafness in my right ear.
I went through several surgeries throughout my childhood to correct it and up till now, it is still not complete as I decided to stop the surgery halfway.
Throughout my life, I had attracted quite a number of stares from people.
To keep my spirits up, I keep on telling myself that I am unique.
Thinking back, I have no reason to feel low self esteemed.
There are many other people in this world who have much more physical deformities and disabilities, and yet they are doing so much better!
Therefore, this website/blog was set up and it will be served as a motivational resource for everyone.
